B Period: Power charts! Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday of next week. Students will read Chapter 4 in class on Friday, and will finish reading for homework over the weekend and complete the Power Chart for chapters 1-3, and adding in Crooks from ch. 4.
D Period: Vocab cards completed for list #3 in class yesterday, be sure to study all 17 vocab words from the last month of school!
E Period: Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday of next week. Power charts! Finish reading Chapter 3 tonight and adding to your Power Chart. Reading Chapter 4 in class Friday and completing over the weekend.
G Period: Same as "Period E"
Ms. Clancy is out this week on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24th at a conference. Please ensure you complete class work with the substitute on Friday and finish any classwork for homework :)

Today students took time to check out library books at the PNHS library. All grade 9 students on Red Team English should have an independent reading book (either in their classroom magazine rack (CP-2 only) or in their book bag to bring home each night to read).
At this point, all supplies should be ready to use in class, including a journal, SSR book, three-ringed binder or notebook/folders, and pens, pencils and highlighters.
B Period: Reading 20 minutes in SSR book or journaling
D Period: No new homework; Signed syllabus still needed for some students!
E Period: Same as "Period B"
G Period: Same as "Period B"
